The best is yet to come.

So yesterday was:

-the day after a fabulous day at the movie set of a British sixties movie
-the day my ex boss gave me a lot of money as a severance
-the day there was a huge public transport strike but I arrived where I had to be without any problem, so I didn't notice anything of mentioned strike
-the day I had a lovely afternoon & evening with my mother
-the day I saw that the notary where I had a very good job interview, put the job back on the market. I think I need to realise I wasn't chosen for the job. Something I still don't want to accept for 100 % as it was such a good interview and the person was almost offering me the job on a silver plate. Welcome to the real world, little Anna.

And today, as I realised this morning when I woke up after a very lucid dream, it's the last day I'm officially working. From tomorrow I'm officially without a job.

This means the 9 months are over, the baby is born & what a lovely baby it is.

Those 9 months made me a complete different person. I had the best time ever, travelled to London, twice to Paris, once to Milan and visited Malaga & Granada. A friendship was ended. Other became stronger. I learned a lot about people & myself. I became the most patient person there can be on earth. I met so many nice and interesting people. I experienced how to spend your days with breathing every second in a way it's fully absorbed. I dressed up so many times for parties on movie sets, wore high heels that much my feet could still hurt the day after and haven't been wearing as much make-up as in the last months. I gained 3 kg and already lost again 2. 3 months were spend with a vertigo and spend a few days in the hospital doing tests. I did things I thought I wasn't able of.

I've been grateful for the moments I had in the last months. There were moments I almost couldn't stop crying of happiness when I walked in the streets of Granada & Paris. When I entered a little church in the Alhambra, I went inside and sat down to be aware of the moment & the feeling I had. If there is a God somewhere, he was thanked that day.

Priceless. That's the best word to describe the last 9 months.

The best is yet to come.

So here we are again...

A few years ago I used to have a blog, or should I say an online diary. I used it for more than 10 years, met many people, was even part of an online art project with my diary, travelled a lot, studied law & got my diploma, found a job and became part of the adult world.

Those were the good old days of which I still think from time to time. I'm still in contact with a few people of the diaryworld: Ana, Gentry (the fabulous Burlesque dancer) and of course the sweet Alicia, also known as Smallmadeline. First thing on my to do list when I've job (or dare to spend a lot of money being jobless) is to visit her and meet her in person.

So here we are, being in the same world, a bit older & wiser than when I used to write in my online diary.

I think today is a good day to start having a blog again, inspired by some twitter friends who have such lovely blogs :)

Life is interesting these days, even while the struggle to find a new job is hard. First job interviews went great but I still haven't found what I'm looking for. Rejection isn't fun but will be something I'll get used to, certainly when you're specialised in a kind of law where there aren't almost jobs to find for or when you aren't qualified for other jobs as you've no experience in it.

My mantra of the last weeks has been: Go Go Go! and that's the spirit I would like to follow. I'm not the person to give up, in contrary, I've had my part of sh*t in this life & these days I try to make something positive out of the negative. I haven't been always like this but it's a good attitude to face life.

Why did I choose this name for my blog? Well, I do have a little blue book, that goes with me on my adventures & travels. I write down the things I like to visit, train & bus hours, addresses and little maps of how to get there.

As I'm a picture addict you'll see a lot of pics here and let's start with these:

                                                               the little blue book

                                                                   and what's in it.

As I already said, life is pretty interesting. In the last months I've worked a bit, travelled a lot, watched tons of movies, read tons of books, did a computer course & a French course, wrote a lot and spend my days being an extra for TV shows & movies. It all started with acting like a mother at a school for a movie made in my city and has become almost a full time activity.

The only thing I do these days is travelling from one city to another to be a journalist, a flight attendant, a concert visitor, a bar & restaurant visitor, a nurse, a mother, a senator's assistant and a doctor. It gets even more interesting as the jobs are becoming better paid & more of a challenge. Next thing on the list is to play in an English movie, which even requires a costume fitting that will be in a few hours. I'm very curious to see how the costumes will look. The only thing I know is that next week, I have to be on the set at 7 AM as we need to get dressed & our hair done. I secretly hope it will be a kind of "Mad men" atmosphere but I might have a little bit too much imagination... (You better get used to this :)

So now, I must get ready for my costume fitting. I need black classic shoes and a flesh colored pantyhose. Oh joy, that's so sexy... Trust me, they are obsessed with flesh colored pantyhose. They always say we have to bring them but we never have to use them :s

PS: Thank God for a spelling checker, as English isn't my native language, so try to ignore the horrible mistakes I will make here :)
